I love football season. I just don’t care all that much about the game. In this day of highlights and replays I have no real incentive to pay attention. If something is really worth watching you know they are just going to replay it a dozen times as some far past his glory day commentator waxes philosophic about whether this changes the course of the game. I’m starting to think that I need to update the introduction I give when I greet tables; you know, clarify my position a little more. It is apparently not apparent what my role is. Don’t get me wrong, I am not demeaning my position, but I am your server; the person who takes your order, ensures that you have everything you need and replenishes your unlimited soda and sides of ranch.
